At least before uninstalling the driver, the web cam was visible as a "hidden" device in device manager, but now, nothing, nada, and Windows update and device manager won't find it. It's not "hidden" in device manager, and my privacy settings are ok, and my bios is set to recognize the web cam. But now, Windows 10 doesn't even see the hardware at all. The manual says that Windows will supply the driver. But, my Dell G5505 special edition laptop (bought in December 2020) does not come with a webcam driver.
